Parcel scales are typically found in despatch departments where correct weights are required for shipping purposes. By giving you courier company exact weights for parcels you can quickly save money. Many courier companies check weigh parcels at the depots, we have large discrepancies between weights recorded at Scalesmart and weights given to us by our courier company. Shipping costs vary from 20-25 pence per kilo, factor that in to the amount of goods shipped per year and it is a necessity to accurate weigh your parcels.
