The instrinsically safe range of indicators from GSE is based on the 350 / 355 Series and features all of the functionality of the base range including EC Class III approval.

Power is either by a battery pack that is mounted in the bracket and can be removed to the safe area for charging or by an external AD/Dcmains adaptor that can be located in either the safe area or the hazadous ares. Mains adaptor and battery indluded for respective models.
Battery charger extra
For interfacing to external process control equipment a separate safe area hub kit is available that provides a fibre optic connection to a standard 350/355 indicator configured as a slave.
The safe area hb can then house relay output boards, analoue output boards, RS485 and 20mA boards and a standard RS232 interface.
The indicators are available with either 5V (standard) or 8V load cell excitation at extra cost.
