The base features a compartment housing the power cord for recharging the internal battery from a mains power supply.

A variable power down timer which can shut the scale down to save power if it is left unused for a prolonged
period. The auto shut down period is selectable by the user. If the unit is used on mains power all the time, the power down timer can be disabled to have continuous operation of the scale.

A battery condition indicator is provided on the front panel display so you can immediately see how much power is left in the battery.
