The scale has an integrated 150kg tare facility, which helps to determine the patients net weight within seconds.

Additionally the extremely flat roll-on/roll-off surface makes it easy for wheelchairs to be moved onto and off the scale with ease. The large display makes it convenience for nursing staff to read off the results. The flexible cable-linked remote display can be positioned precisely where it is most convenient for the user, e.g. on the desk of fixed to the wall.

An in-built printer in the separate console unit provides readings for Weight, Body Mass Index and in addition provides a Body Mass Index judgment feature. The printout also allows for a unique patient identity number to be input.
